This cache event is being placed for 2 reasons:
1. I want to hide an event cache for the Winter Cache Game cache
event
2. This will likely be the last day in December that I will be
geocaching (so I will be trying to have my qualifying caches
completed for said game prior to this event), because...
I'm going under the
knife!!!
On Dec. 9 I will be having a fairly routine surgery that I
expect will have me in hospital only a few days. (No worries.) I
will have activity restrictions for about a month while I heal.
This means that for the majority of December and part of January
I'm going to be sitting around and laying around resting. Any new
caches that come up in Saskatoon during that time will have me
pining for them, unable to go out and retrieve them! But that's
beside the point...
I'm planning to put in a good few hours of caching earlier in
the day (please, please, please Mother Nature - no crazy winter
storms that day!), and would like to finish celebrating a good year
of caching with my fellow cachers. It feels like we've really
developed a community over the last year, and real friendships are
being formed. So come help me wind up after a great day of
geocaching and join me for munchies or ice cream.! I don't have any
games or such planned... this is just a social evening!
