The posted co-ordinates will get you to the first stage of this geocache location. Final is nearby.
Located along Jessup Lane, a link in the Park to Park and Trans Canada trail systems. This link is also called 'The Old Cemetery Trail and is accessible all year. (Cache however, is best attempted in warmer weather.)
Intended as fun for kids this cache has trading items with funny faces or a fun theme to them. It has all the ingredients many of us dis-like ( micro, multi and a tree or two). Yikes! But this is fun. Co-ords. take you to a natural feature. Directions to final stage are on this feature. Final is less than 40 metres away and is a camo'd PB style plastic container. Hints should help. Have fun.
Jessup Lane can be accessed via the settlement of Novar to the north. (Fnd the Novar cemetery at junction of Boundary and Long Lake Roads.) This access allows you to find two other caches (Rustbucket - GC1AVDM) and (Novarites - GCY5BE) on the way. Or you can find Jessup Lane from the south in the settlement of Melissa. along North Waseosa Rd. A final approach is via Stahl's Rd. W. off southbound highway 11 between Novar and Melissa.
No special FTF prize for adults but there is a funky Goofy Face that spits water for the first to find kid. Have Fun!
This multi-purpose recreation trail link is beautiful in winter. It's typical Canadian Shield terrain (mixed woods and water bodies) along with an interesting local history of logging and farming.
CONGRATULATIONS TO TWISTYIPPER and BURRHEAD (and Other Halves) for FTF !
