Geocache Description:

Located right along the rail trail. Thought of this especially for a winter cache. Enjoy winter hiking, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing on the trail. Snowmobilers also use the rail trail.

To reach the cache you can park either at the trail head for Hawker Ridge Trail and Randolph Path and walk west on the rail trail (parking co-ordinates N 44 22.269 W 071 16.213). Or park at the Appalachia Trail Head and walk east on the rail trail.
A glacial erratic is a boulder that was dropped in place during the glacial period over 25,000 years ago.
The cache has some marbles, sea shells, Indian arrow head, plastic animals, and playing cards inside. The FTF has a card and lucky New Hampshire quarter. Enjoy!

Congratulations to cooshiker on another FTF!!!
