This cache is a direct replacement for the original Earthwalk 2000
which was archived.

The cache is a camoflaged L&L. The cache is located at the
Marion County Solid Waste transfer center. You can park in the
recycling center and the Earth Walk 2000 trail is across the road.
Have fun with this cache and walk the entire trail. The recycling
center people put some work into putting this earth walk together.
The trail is all gravel and nicely maintained. You will see many
brightly colored bird houses and nifty things made from recyclable
products. You might even come across a dinosaur. The transfer
station is open from 8am - 5pm - 7 days a week, except holidays.
Bring your recycle items with you and drop them off while your
there. If you have an old mercury style thermometer, drive up to
the gate house and trade it in for a digital one. Enjoy the hike!
This is an excellent cache for young children, a lot of interesting
"animals' to see along the way. Original contents are small items
for children, plus one or two items for adults. Congratulations to
ALEESER for FTF!
