The service has been here for over thirty years and has seen
many changes since its conception as a workshop making products and
parts for outside companies. It has evolved into a centre for
learning skills that enable the service users to become more
confident in taking part in activities enjoyed by non-disabled
people and to help them towards independent living.
The cache is accessible along a small, very narrow access lane
from the suggested parking (N53 12.300 W002 55.625) and is
available seven days a week.
EXTREME care is
needed in the lane during the hours of 7.30am to 5.30pm Monday to
Friday since the lane is in constant use by vehicles accessing the
centre, including minibuses. There is no need to enter beyond the
metal gates which will be closed outside these times.
