Geocache Description:

Sussex Cachers First Christmas!

This is a great opportunity to put faces to names that you have seen in the logs. Familiar faces and especially new ones are very welcome.

This event is scheduled to take place monthly on the third Wednesday. (Volunteers for the next one, 21 January 2009?)

Also required: volunteers to organise a CITO event Spring 2009. (Please contact Martletsman for advice)

This pub has just been refurbished. It was previously known as The Sussex Potter. Now it is known as Miller & Carter Steakhouse. 43 Manor Road, Lancing. BN150EU
7pm onwards
Directions: Turn North at the roundabout next to Lancing Manor Leisure Centre. Follow the road and it is on the left just after the first turning on the left. There is a restaurant offering a variety of choice. The carpark holds around sixty cars and there is easy on road parking should you require it.

No particular theme but please feel free to 'glitz up'. Nothing rude please.

Secret Santa:
If you would like to participate I would suggest the following but invite your suggestions:
A spend limit of around £5, no more than £10. A gender non specifc gift, use your imagination. As each gift arrives it will be allocated a raffle ticket. The duplicate ticket will be put in a temporary cache in the pub garden. The co-ords of which will be written in the log book.

Also perhaps you might like to write a caching carol to a popular tune?

Wouldn't it be great to have a Caching Christmas Cake? I don't think the pub would like it very much if we brought lots of mince pies. Bringing food to a restaurant/pub can be awkward so a cake could be passed off as a birthday cake. How about a photo cake from a supermarket, with a Geocaching logo on it? It would cost around £10 (more or less) We could spilt the cost evenly amongst attendees. Tell me what you think?
