Geocache Description:

Geocache Decathlon Event #4 is a field puzzle. You will need to find three points of interest in the park and use them to find the final cache location. You are looking for a small loc' n loc' container with a log and some small goodies. To score points for this cache, you must sign the log and report your place number in your online log.

What is the Geocache Decathlon?
The Geocache Decathlon consists of 10 separate events (or caches). Be one of the first 10 cachers to find the event cache and you will score points. To win the decathlon, you must score the most points after the conclusion of all the decathlon events. To learn more about the decathlon or to see the current standings, go to the

IMPORTANT: You must put what place you finished into your log so that I can award the correct points.

The Field Puzzle:
The coordinates above will take you to the main entrance of Channahon Community Park. The park is open from DAWN to DUSK. Please observe those hours when competing in this event.

Once inside the park, you will be looking for three landmarks that will help you find the cache. After finding the landmarks, you can use the distances associated with the landmarks to triangulate the final cache location.
