Sited adjacent to a new permissive footpath on the Cricket St Thomas Estate, you are searching for a large lock'n'lock tub - big enough for a hard backed logbook + decent swaps.
FTF kudos to Woodbury Walker
In partnership with DEFRA, the Estate has created a network of walking routes and bridleways. Explore the historic Cricket St Thomas parkland whilst taking in excellent views across the surrounding rolling countryside on 10km of permissive footpaths/bridleways. The new routes link into a number of existing public rights of way or from the car park provided.
There are listed buildings, a section of the Roman Fosse Way, veteran trees (designated County Wildlife Sites), listed historic parkland landscapes, woodland and rivers to be seen along the way.
Much of the estate is managed under the Countryside Stewardship Scheme with extensive grazing of pasture with no fertiliser inputs to help encourage biodiversity. Also under the Scheme arable land has been reverted back to grassland and trees replanted to restore the historical parkland landscape.
You can find details of the complete network and map here
Please observe the speed limit for the Estate and park sensibly.
