Kleiner Cache an einem Ort mit schöner Aussicht, "Tschugg" genannt.
A small cache on a prominent point with a good view of the Valais valley, named the "Tschugg".
Unser erster Cache, versteckt an einem prominenten Ort im kleinen Dorf Guttet.
Guttet ist ein altes Dörfchen, das früher an der internationalen Säumerroute von der Gemmi zum Simplon wahrscheinlich weit belebter war als heute. Deshalb dürfte das Bergen des Caches normalerweise kaum ein Problem sein, denn es gibt sehr wenige "Passanten". Unter www.guttet-feschel.ch besteht eine sehenswerte Webseite, wo man auch mit einer Webcam die Gegend im Auge behalten kann. Der Standort der Webcam ist etwas unterhalb des alten Dorfes.
Ein Parkplatz ist rund 30 Meter nordöstlich vom Cache entfernt, deshalb lohnt es sich nicht einmal Koordinaten anzugeben. Es ist aber noch ein kleiner Höhenunterschied dazwischen...
Zum Versteck führt ein kleiner Pfad; allerdings ist das Gelände steil und felsig, deshalb Kinder an die Hand nehmen. Oben angelangt, kann es bei entsprechendem Wetter sehr windig sein, dafür wird man mit einem sensationellen Blick ins Wallis belohnt. Beim Verstecken heute lag etwas Schnee, der Zugang klappte aber leicht.

This is the first cache we were hiding and we did it in a small village called Guttet.
Guttet is an old village. In older times it was located o the path from the north of the alps to Italy (the Simplon route). Guttet has a website at www.guttet-feschel.ch, where you can also find a webcam for checking the weather.
A car parking is just next to the cache, but there are a few meters to go up from there...
There is a small path to the "summit" which is stepp and rocky, so be careful especially with children. In windy conditions, you will feel the power of nature when lifting the cache!
