Geocache Description:

Croker Island is the largest island on Indian Arm.

Croker Island Lookout is along the Dilly Dally trail at the north end of Buntzen Lake. This is along the lower part of the trail, so there are not any steep climbs (350m elevation gain). It took us about 5 hours return from the south end of the lake. There are three creek crossings. The first two are relatively easy, the third one is a little more difficult. You should have waterproof hiking boots.

You can continue along the Dilly Dally trail but the hike is quite long and steep. The Dilly Dally Loop takes about 10–12 hours return for a distance of 25 km and an elevation gain of 1150m.

Remember to check the gate closure times when you enter the park and allow yourself enough time.

Cache Location: The cache is hidden in under a large rock about 10m back from the lookout. Please see the picture below.
