This is an easy hike that everyone can enjoy. Located just off the main highway.
Located off US 2 near Index. Turn at the Mt. Index Rd. just past mile marker 35. Go up this gravel road 200 yards and turn right to the Lake Serene parking lot trail #1068. Northwest Forest Pass required to park here or park back down the road in the pull outs. Follow the old road/trail approx. 3/4 mile to the fork in the road, the trail continues on to the right to Lake Serene, you will want to veer left.
This is the cache that was given to me for my birthday. This is located near my cabin that has been in the family for years.This cache is full of tools because of my passion for building and tinkering. Feel free to take a tool and/or leave a tool of any sort.
