Our monthly "meet & greet" will be held this month from
11:30a.m. to 1:30p.m. at
HOMETOWN BUFFET
3900 NW 63RD STREET
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK 73116
(405) 946-9501
We have reserved a Banquet Room, so pay for your meal as you
enter the restaurant, then help yourself to the buffet as you head
on back to the meeting room.
Our "ice breaker" question for the month will be "Name one cache
that you have not found yet, but it's on your list of
caches-to-find-before-I-die". In the interest of time, please be as
brief as possible. Door prizes will follow our meal so be sure to
get a ticket when you come into the meeting. There will also be an
area where Travel Bugs will be displayed for Discovery Only.
Please don't forget that meetings are hosted on a volunteer
basis. The duties are simple, find a place big enough for all of us
to be together, meetings are the 2nd Saturday of each month. Try to
think of geocaching-related game that we can play or come up with
an ice breaker question so everyone can have an opportunity to
share.
The Gators received an email from Jeff, aka Captain Crash,
suggesting a statewide meeting in February. The suggested location
was Guthrie, for Feb. 21. Jeff says the TAG group is all ready for
it & hopes we'll vote with a resounding yes!! Hmmm, has anyone
emailed the Southern OK Group- that would be awesome to have a true
Statewide meet 'n greet!
Be there or Be Square!! Chomp!!!
