A quick adventure near on of the most beautifull narrow-gauge railroads in the world!
Hard, hard it is to find any suitable piece of information for this wonder in the Rodopi mountain! So, don’t expect a very complicated info page here… I’ll tell you only what I know. The Rodopi narrow-gauge railroad starts from September, and leads thru Velingrad and Bansko to Dobrinishte. It is believed to be one of the most-beautiful narrow-gauge railroads in the world. But still, it’s easy to miss the little tracks aside the road as you might be driving towards Velingrad. So, stop by and check this one out. The cache is located near one of the smallest stops (once a train station), called Marko Nikolov, located among the tracks of the Rodopi narrow-gauge little train. The cache is accessible by car and with the train itself, of course – there are four trains a day that stop on this stop coming from the Septemvri station; and four, coming from Bansko. Enjoy a railroad track as small as you won’t believe a train actually goes around!
Also, when searching for the cache, please bear in mind that there are remains from an old building on the cache grounds; from which a hole is left, quite well hidden by the branches. Be careful not to fall in when searching for the cache : )
