Geocache Description:

Summit of Big House Mountain

From Lexington, VA take Rt. 60 West to Jacktown Rd.(Rt. 641). Go about 2.5 miles, then take a right on Saddle Ridge Road(Rt. 643). Drive until the end of state maintenance sign and park, careful not to block any driveways. The hike in is up an old logging road in good condition. It is 2 miles to the "saddle" of the House Mountains, and another 0.75 miles to the summit of Big House Mountain. The cache is in an ammo box visible to the naked eye.
