Het 'Monument voor Britse Vliegers' in Krabbendijke (gemeente
Reimerswaal) is opgericht ter nagedachtenis aan de gesneuvelde
bemanning van een Lancaster bommenwerper van de Royal Air Force die
hier op 11 mei 1944 is neergestort.
De namen van de zeven slachtoffers luiden:
J.H. Barton, R.S. Hollingum, C.R. Marriott, A.J. Muir, W.A.
Palmer, C.W. Smith en C.R. Todd.
Onthulling Het monument is onthuld in 1946 en staat onder
bescherming van de Nederlandse Oorlogsgravenstichting.
The "Monument to British Pilots' in Krabbendijke (Reimerswaal
town) was established in memory of the fallen crew of a Lancaster
bomber of the Royal Air Force who on May 11, 1944 crashed.
The names of the seven victims following:

Unveiling The monument was unveiled in 1946 and is under
protection of the Dutch War Graves Foundation.
