Geocache Description:

A magical trip in the Rhodopes mountain!

Welcome to the Rhodopes mountin! Searching for this cache will take you up far in the mountains, you will see villages and people doing their daily stuff, and for sure you'll feel llike if it was at least a hundred years ago... for good!

Access to this cache is actually no too hard. You can almost reach it by car; just walk up the hill (there is an unpabed road too) and you'll soon be able to grab it!

You can also access the cache witha a train, and not a train like any other, but the only one narrow-gauge train still running up in Bulgaria on a daily service; reaching the highest trainstation on the Balkans (Avramovo, 1267 meters above sea level) and yet believed to be one of the most-beautiful narrow-gauge railroads in the world!

And you have to get off the little train exactly on that one station - Avramovo (check the train schedule on www.bdz.bg or drop me a private message and i will help if you want me to). Then follow the paved road almost up to the cache, like you would do with a car. Then you can go down and get the train back from Cvetino station; or from Avramovo once again.

It's good for a one day trip, if you are a good hiker (starting from Sofia and back there, but it's risky if you don't plan well.
