Geocache Description:

A Wilderness Mama cache, adopted from her in September 2009 after she moved from the area. Thanks, WM, for all the great caches, and for doing so much to put the New Hampton area on the geocaching map.

Ionia is known as a “little town with a big welcome.” It is a community of 277 people and one cache. Please don’t disturb the plants around this great artifact. Not exactly wheelchair accessible because it requires a step up to a higher level, but it can be spotted if the geocacher is looking in the right place.

This great little park has a ball field, picnic shelter and playground. Enjoy.
