Fractured Rock Traditional Geocache
mtnbkrwoman: This has been one of our favorite caches and we are so sad to know that someone has muggled it. We are now taking care of my 95 year old mother inlaw who fell and broke her hip so replacing the cache at this time isn't possible. Thank you for all who have made the effort to search and find this cache. It's been a good run.

Rock outcropping. About 1,400 feet. No climbing involved but some scrambling over boulders and loose rock.
Fractured Rock
This cache is approved by Devils Den State Park. Permit number is 16-2008-008.
This is a very unique area of the park seldom visited by people. The cache is easy to find however getting to it will be a little difficult, but WOW what a view. While there, take time to explore all around. There are many huge fractures in the rock and caves in the area. There is much to be seen here but keep a tight eye on the kiddos as it would be easy to fall in many areas. You are looking for a one quart plastic container, camouflaged. I left a couple of dollars in coins for the FTF. The best way to get there is to park somewhere around the visitor center and follow the power lines up the mountain. Have fun.
