The three of us would come here often when this was an active
beaver dam and pond. It was so wonderful to sit in the evenings on
the NW edge of the pond and watch the beavers swimming in the water
getting ready for night time.
Now I see that the dam itself has been opened up and the large
area that was once the pond is now dry, except for a small trickle
of a creeek that still remains.
In the center is the beaver lodge that at one time stood proud,
now overgrown, and upon close inspection one can see the entrances
used at one time.
We have photos of the area when we have been here before showing
what it was once several years ago. I will post these soon here.
