coordinates. Please solve the puzzle below to determine the
location of the cache.
I've had a lot on my plate recently. I lost my license. Well, my
license plate anyway. In fact, I lost my whole car. I know it's
around here somewhere. I'd like to find it before it gets towed. I
know I didn't park it in a marked tow zone, but I'm pretty sure you
aren't supposed to leave a car where I did. Actually, I'm more
worried about getting the license plate back than anything else.
Maybe you can help me. Find my car, if it's still there. Then find
my plate.
Use the clues below to build the coordinates from the license
plates.
The cache is at N42° AB.CDE, W88° VW.XYZ
A is the only digit that appears on every plate in a single
column.
B is the only number in common with all states that border
the Mississippi River.
C is the only number that appears twice in yellow.
D is the only number that appears twice on a single license
plate.
E is the only number to appear in each row and each
column.
V is spelled out in letters.
W appears both as a yellow number and on a yellow
background.
X is the only digit that does not appear in the row in which
all other digits are present.
Y only appears once.
Z is the sum of the digits on a green plate.
You may be able to find more than one possible solution, but I only
lost one car. You can check here to see if you think you know where to
look.
