Geocache Description:

One in a series of 4 caches (each logable) which will lead you to a great view of planes on final approach to one of the runways at George H W Bush Intercontinental Airport, if you choose to do all in the series.

"Houston control tower, this is Flight GEO-001. We are currently about 2 miles from final touchdown. Passengers, please place your trays and seat backs in their fully upright and locked positions, fasten your seatbelts and turn off all electronic equipment as we prepare for landing."

This series is great for kids of all ages who like to see airplanes up close. Bring your binoculars and cameras for even better views.

Unfortunately, the bonus cache for this series has been declared unacceptable due to airport security concerns so it is not available at this time. The views of the airplanes from this location, however, make this cache still worth finding.

Please be careful returning the cache log to its container so future seekers will have the same information you just got when you found this one.

This is an easy find, a camoed 35mm-size container. However, it is in a location where, in addition to some great views of flights passing overhead, you need to beware of curious muggles who may be nearby being non-productive. Bring your own pen, and place the rolled up log in the container carefully before installing the top and replacing the cache.

Happy Landings!!
