This is a mystery cache (at the listed
co-ordinates), as there are a couple of special requirements. The
first applies during December and the run up to Christmas, whilst
the other applies at all times. For this to succeed we need all
visitors to do exactly as requested.
Before anyone rushes out after the FTF, they
will need to do their
preparation before leaving home!
Firstly, during the month of December (and 30th
November), there will be a Christmas present placed in the cache.
If you come to find this cache, please bring another wrapped and
labelled present with you (no geo-junk. It doesn’t need to be
expensive, but let’s have some nice well thought out presents).
Take home the present already in the cache and put it under your
Christmas tree (no peeping or cheating) to be opened on Christmas
day! Then leave the present you brought with you in the cache for
the next visitor. I will return on or soon after Christmas day to
collect the remaining present – that’s my Christmas surprise!
Please note that for FTF your extra special Christmas present
doesn’t fit in the cache. It is sealed in waterproof covering
and
is adjacent to the cache. There is also a FTF certificate
within
the cache.

After Christmas, please log a “Thank You” note
against this cache,
detailing what was in the surprise present you picked up.
Photographs of you opening or using the gift will be greatly
appreciated. Obviously, these logs may be more interesting than
the
“found cache, took present, left present” logs from earlier,
depending of course on the present received.
Secondly, there is a stamped self addressed envelope in the
cache.
Please take it away with you and leave another one addressed
to
yourself in its place. Within a month, please use the envelope
you
took to send a surprise message to the person who left it
there.
This could be a Christmas card, an invitation, a mystery
valentine
card, a postcard from a holiday, or just a letter. They won’t
know
who it’s from or when to expect it, so it will be a surprise
for
them! Of course, you won’t know who will write to you, or
when,
with the envelope you left in the cache!
Return visits are of course welcome, provided you again comply
with
the conditions detailed above.
Merry Christmas and a happy new year
