Cross On a Hill Traditional Cache
Sea Turtle: Since Covid, I haven't been to Avalon and don't see a trip there anytime soon. This Cache has been muggled so many times that I feel the need to archive it, since I'm not there to replace it in a timely manner.

An up hill walk from downtown Avalon. Follow Wrigley Terrace Rd. until you get to an old brick stairway. Follow the red brick walkway to the cache location. These are some of the best views from Catalina. Cache is named for the large wooden white cross that stands at the top of this hill. This could easily be a cache in and trash out as the area seems to be a hangout for litterbugs. Saw lots of beer bottles and other types of trash. Unfortunately some graffiti as well.
Cache is in a small Camouflaged gelato container. New Cache contents as of 11/23/09 started with Log, pen, PEZ, old chinese coin, cinnamon toothpiks, Buddha charm, finger puppet. This cache has been muggled lots of times so please be careful replacing it.
