Popular spot for wombats so look out if exploring at night (holes!)
Rocky Glen Grommets often see wombats on this stretch of road and got the idea for this cache when we saw a photo posted by fellow YP cachers when they were visitng "Bonnie's Beach". Hence, Wombat Crossing came about.
Keep a good lookout, especially at night, on a warm night - be careful of speed cos they blend in beautifully with the colour of the road and can be difficult to spot immediately!
Lots of fun for young Groms - from this spot to the corner travelling south on the bitumin should bring results (at night of course!)
