A tribute to 5K Team's archived cache at this same rest area and now adopted.
Back in July of 2006, 5K team placed a cache at this rest area called "Thank you for visiting Iowa." It and its name were sort of an homage to our cache at the rest area on the southbound side of the interstate. It's name is "Welcome to Iowa." We were FTF on 5K's cache and it has now been archived. You can read up on that cache (if you're so inclined) at the "user's web page" link above.
So, thanks again for visiting Iowa. This is the last northbound I-29 rest area in Iowa. The cache container will also express its gratitude.
This one is not very large, but has some room for some small, thin items. It's not very difficult, but much stealth will be required.
