Knagur Green: Due to no response from the CO after the request to maintain or replace the cache, I am archiving it to, stop it showing on the listings and/or to create place for the geocaching community.

The Geocache Maintenance guideline explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival. This is explained in the Help Center

Geocache Description:


The cache is at one of the important fort. Dhayah Fort located north of the Al Rams Town. Dhayah has always been a very fertile area and has been settled at least since the third millennium BC. Records show that the Fort, appears to have been built during the 19th Century on the foundations of much older structures.

It is the only hilltop fort still in existence in the UAE. Upon climbing to the top, visitors are rewarded with a fantastic view of the lush palm gardens below, the Persian Gulf to one side and the dramatic Hajjar Mountains to the other.
