Geocache Description:

A straightforward cache easily found from the parking area – but with a twist.

In order to find out why it’s called ‘Journey to Easter Island’ you need to continue on to ‘GC1JCB8 War and Peace’.* Continue down the lane towards the houses and turn left through the gates of Whitehall Farm (marked as the footpath) and you should find the answer but please don’t mention exactly what it is or upload a photo in your log. Cache is a small camoflaged clip lock box with lots of swaps and room for coins and small TB's.

If you are continuing on to War and Peace then follow the green lane past Whitehall farmhouse, over two styles and at the tarmac lane turn right onto the house driveway. You are going through someone’s garden and driveway but don’t worry it is the marked footpath, you’ll see a sign as you go through the rather ornate iron gate!

Although this cache is easy access for buggies and bikes the path on to War and Peace isn't due to the number of stiles you'll need to cross.

*Edited to say the reason for the cache name has been removed. It was a wooden sculpture of an Easter Island head in a garden.
