Geocache Description:

This cache is now part of a new series called HM or Historical Markers that I am doing that will be placed along the historical markers throughout NC THE marker reads that this location was the site of a WW2 training camp and overseas replacement depot. from 1943-1946 Over 330,000 servicemen were processed here. This is the center if a 652 acre site.

Part of the logging requirement is to take a pic of you next to the marker and to post it along with your log. This is the real location.
