Come welcome Alabama's own original eccentric geo-hiker who has recently returned from his 4,000 mile Great Appalachian Odyssey.
Please come for an honest-to-goodness Southern Geo-Gathering and Meet & Greet for our Legendary Walkingman. The man who demonstrated that the need to travel by foot or bicycle was no hindrance to claiming over 60 FTF's in the Land of PHAH, home of the obsessively competitive geocachers. We'll meet at Veterans Park I in Alabaster at 11 AM 12/13/08 and share some geo-experience, catch-up on the recent central-Alabama-geo-news and pick up a few caches in the Park and nearby.
For now, plan on bring a non-perishable food item and some deserts. See you there.
