A cache to test your projection
skills
THE CACHE IS NOT LOCATED AT THE POSTED
COORDINATES
The posted coordinates will take you to ... well ... nothing.
However, you will need these coordinates in order to perform your
projection. Somewhere nearby ( within 90 feet ) you will find
something to help you with your projection. It is located above
ground level and is kind of related to geocaching.
Once you have found this item you now have the bearing that you
need, relative to the posted coordinates. Now for the distance. In
the middle of this "something" is a set of numbers. These numbers
sit horizontally and one set of numbers is positioned above the
other set of numbers.
Using these two sets of numbers, build the four digit distance, in
feet, of your projection as follows :
1st digit of distance = upper number, first digit
2nd digit of distance = upper number, second digit - 1
3rd digit of distance = lower number, first digit + 3rd digit
4th digit of distance = lower number, fourth digit - 3
The cache is a camo-painted Lock n Lock container filled with
decent trade items.
I am interested in hearing how this puzzle was solved by the cache

without giving too much away.
