There haven’t been any good old caches on hills in Canberra for a while! I suppose that’s because most hills already have caches! But today I found a new hill! Have been planning to place one up here for ages – just to check out the view! The views were great!
Altitude wise (666m) it’s not that high, but still it’s a nice climb from the valley below.
Of course, you could do this simply as a drive by (in which case the terrain becomes about 2), but where’s the fun in that! I would recommend a bike, or – like I did, on foot! You get to see all the views that way! There’s the Cotter valley of course, the river, Cotter Pumping station, and once you get a little higher – Cotter Dam itself!
From the Cotter Campground it’s an invigorating walk, but shouldn’t take too long!
