Geocache Description:


A de-con container hidden near a spot where several years ago while driving to Pahrump in the dark, I came “that close” to hitting a burro standing in the middle of the road. I stomped the brakes which launched my nearly full Big Gulp out of a “non-Gulp-friendly” cup holder, resulting in a messy carpet cleaning project and cell phone buttons that were still sticking the day I upgraded.

As with any desert geocache, carry plenty of water and be on the lookout for snakes, pointy plants (you’ll find them very close to this cache) and venomous insects. Also, be especially alert for those jackasses on the highway.
