MCP&RTC Cache Traditional Cache
Geo Gent: Must archive this cache for now due to changes in fencing, gates, etc. at the tennis courts. All new updates made to these courts do not afford the same kind of hide, unfortunately. Perhaps in the future there will be another creative, more difficult cache at the Martin County Parks & Recreation Tennis Courts!

This cache is located in Halpatiokee Regional Park in central Martin County just east of I-95. This large family and sportsman’s recreation area is on land once managed by the South Florida Water Management District. It is now a large family park and nature area. Amenities include multiple baseball and football/soccer fields, batting cages, tennis courts, covered skating rink, hiking trails, biking trails, and off-road mountain biking trails, a primitive campground, a child’s playground, and picnic tables and pavilions. The south fork of the St. Lucie river partially boarders the eastern edge of the park and a canoe/kayak outfitter is on the edge of the park, as well a public boat ramp on Lost River off Cove Road just N.E. of the park. There are lots of animals, birds and fish to enjoy. You may spot a gopher tortoise, wild pigs, armadillo, or perhaps an alligator along the river or near the lakes.
This cache is located in a very public, high muggle area, so please use caution when searching for it. If people are playing or watching, please come back later. You are looking for a very small container, but not a nano. It is an odd shape and camo'd. You may need to push it out from the back, but nothing should be pulled apart or tampered with in the area around the cache. The cache is visible from the right angle. BYOP and date and sign the tiny log with your Geo INITIALS ONLY. Please replace exactly as found. Have fun!
