Got cabin fever? Longing to get outside and do some geocaching? Join us for some fun, food, and friends.
What: Potluck Lunch
Where: Woodpecker Lodge at Pinicon Ridge Park near Central City, Iowa
When: Saturday, January 24th 2009. Lodge opens at 10:00 AM. Lunch and door prizes about 12:30 PM. Lodge closes 4:00 PM.
The Woodpecker Lodge is a heated facility with a refrigerator, sink, stove, oven, and restrooms. The hosts will provide stew, paper bowls, plates, napkins, and plastic table service. Please bring a snack, side dish, or dessert to share, and your own beverage.
The sledding hill just outside the lodge is a lot of fun, but it can be fast, so if you bring a sled or toboggan please be careful and sled at your own risk.
There are several caches in the area.
We’re looking forward to seeing our geocaching friends and meeting new ones. Winter in Iowa CAN be fun!
