This cache was placed with permission of the landowners by Boy Scout Troop 76 which is chartered by Liberty Crossings United Methodist Church. Members of the Cobras, Hawks, Coyotes, Pandas, and Sharks all took part in learning about the international game of geocaching and decided to create and maintain their own cache.
Pathfinding has been part of Scouting from its very beginning. GPS technology provides an augmented compass and measuring system, which is an essential part of the increasingly technology-oriented lives of this generation.
Scouting's values, including "fun with a purpose," are paramount to any Scouting activity.
