„Il monopolio a campana della chiesa avrà un fine” infuriava Peppone….
Don Camillo ha negato il tocco della campana a un funerale di un “rosso” perché il corteo funebre non si ha fermato davanti la sua chiesa.
Ma anche il popolo deve avere la sua propria campana…
Quindi i compagni di Pepppone costruivano un campanile proprio davanti il municipio.
Ma durante la notte il battaglio della campana veniva rubato…
Lo manca fino ad oggi!!!
La campana è stata costruita di cartapesta apposita per il film.

“The exclusive right to the bells of the church will have an end” blustered Peppone…
Don Camillo refused the bell-ringing at the funeral of a “red” because the funeral procession didn’t stop at his church.
The people shall have a bell, too….
Thereupon the companions of Peppone built their own bell tower right in front of the town-hall.
But during the night the handle of the bell was stolen…
It’s still missing until today!!!
The bell was built in papper-mâché especially for the film .
