To commemorate
1Irishgirl's 1000th Geocache find I thought I would
place a cache asking her a question that I should have asked a long
time ago.
1Irishgirl will you marry
me?
She did not
know about the placement of this cache. As we always do, I find the
cache and hand her the logbook to sign as I look through the geo
junk in the can. However, this time it was a little bit different.
When she opened the logbook this is what she saw:

I have placed
this cache on the grounds of Audubon International since this
preserve has a lot of meaning to me and my family. Since 1987 I
have been coming here and walking these trails. My father is the
president, CEO and founder of Audubon International and at N 42
32.463 W 073 52.296 there is a gazebo that my grandfather made. It
was the last thing he did before he passed away in 1992. This is
also the location of the first event that 1Irishgirl and I hosted
together. Since I have so many wonderful memories of this preserve,
I thought it would be an appropriate place to add yet another
memory.
I also wanted
this cache to be a little bit different and that’s why I made
it a letterbox hybrid. I had a custom self inking stamp made
(otherwise known as a “kerchunker” to the Geek Squad)
for those of you that collect stamps.

Update!!!
