*New Note*: Help return this undeveloped land to its natural roots! This pocket of woods is home to LOTS of Downtown Cary wildlife, from deer and grey fox to redheaded woodpeckers. Grab one piece of trash on the way out keep this place from becoming a dump.
This is a traditional ammo crate cache that should be a relatively easy park and grab. You will want to be discreet upon entering the woods via the old timber steps located adjacent to Cici's Pizza. Depending on the time of day the area can be muggled. I suggest locating the steps, parking nearby, and then taking a stroll across the parking lot into the woods.
Start from the top of the old timber steps. Watch out for briars! There are several patches of briars that have grown on this very faint trail, but with a little care you can make it out scratch free.
*UPDATE* 13 DEC 2009: I plan on visiting this cache during the Christmas break to drop in a new log and to check the contents. Several people have described the cache as water logged, so I will be giving it a remodel ASAP!
