R.I.P. #4 (Jarrett) Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This is the 4th in our series of cemetery caches.
This cemetery's name is “Jarrett Cemetery” and it is located in Pinch. There are many interesting inscriptions on the headstones and one of my favorite headstone types as well. Also, there must be some sort of story about the maintenance (or lack thereof) of some of the plots. Who knows……..
You can get within 100ft of the cache while driving up the hill toward the parking area. Parking is out about 465 feet from the cache at the cemetery's obvious main entrance. Please pull as close to the gate as you can so that traffic can get around you. If you want some exercise - park near the stop sign close to the main road (approx. 280 feet away from cache) and walk up the paved road to the main entrance.
Please start at the main entrance and walk through the cemetery to get to the cache, and please make sure to be respectful and quiet while walking around and hunting for the cache. Not only because of what it is, but because of where it is.
The FTF prize is $ 3.00 and a suggestion about where you may want to spend it.
