Geocache Description:

A simple traditional cache placed in a recently opened park in Prince William County. Happy Thursday (GC1FAPK) needed some company. Note the deer hunting stand in a nearby tree

A little info about this interesting park (from about.com): Bristoe Station Battlefield Heritage Park is Prince William County's newest Civil War Battlefield Park. The 133-acre park features interpretive signs, a pond and nearly three-miles of walking and equestrian trails through scenic woods. During the Civil War, Confederate forces suffered a bloody defeat at this site when they tried to cross Broad Run in pursuit of the Federal Third Corps. More than 200 soldiers from Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia are believed to have been buried in graves at Bristoe Station. Most of the gravesites are unmarked.

Curse of the First to Find (FTF) Rules
The ground rules for this special cache are pretty simple, and are as follows:

1. If you are the First To Find for this cache, you will be cursed if you choose not to place another new "Curse of the FTF" cache within 2 months in order to extend the series. As the FTF, the choice is yours and yours alone!

2. If you choose to avoid the curse by placing the next cache in this series, the resulting cache must contain the words "Curse of the FTF #10" in its title; subsequent cache titles should reflect the appropriate series number.

3. You are under no obligation to place the resulting cache in Sterling, but we do request that the cache be placed somewhere in Northern Virginia no further south than Dumfries, VA and no further west than Marshall, VA.

4. You may choose any type of cache (i.e. Traditional, Puzzle, etc) and any type/size of container you desire.

5. You can only be the First To Find once in this series, in order to give other cachers an opportunity to score a FTF.

6. The nature of the curse is that if you fail to continue the series by posting a new "Curse of the FTF" within the allotted 2 months, you will be prevented from ever getting another FTF until the curse is lifted.

7. By way of clarification, there is no requirement besides the standard signing of the cache log to prevent you from logging this cache when found.

Congrats to Karo92 for being FTF! Better hurry...the curse is real...it will play with your mind ;)
