ONE GNARLY DUDE Traditional Cache

This is a simple micro placed on a quiet side road and hosted by one really gnarly dude!
I was driving down this sideroad when I thought I had a deja vu moment. It appeared as if the GREASY WALRUS from Wolfe Island had been transported across the lake and landed along this roadside. It is a twin brother to that one and a very cool specimen. If I was an artist I would love to have this as an item for a lawn ornament. It certainly has character.
IF you look closely you can see that is has become over the years quite intimate with a barb wire fence and please be careful around its trunk for any remnants of the barb that might grab your winter pants or your coat strings.
The cache is a very simple grab and the reason it is placed here is because of the interesting structure of that which remains from what once must have been a magnificent, huge tree. Check out the "tumours" and scar lines of this old GNARLY DUDE and perhaps upload your own photos of this old man of the forest.
Please be gently with the old thing and try to replace the cache as best you can. Because of the age of this host it is recommended that you be GENTLE with the natural facets of this find.
Please bring along your own pen or pencil to sign the log. It is not big enough for any trade items and the FTF is the thrill of meeting this interesting OLD DUDE.
