The fields atop Turkey Hill and at adjacent Weir River Farm are annually mowed and otherwise maintained as on ongoing effort to restore grassland birds, species including bobolink and meadowlark, to the area. And the views are spectacular.
Please take care to replace cache exactly as found. T Please bring pen/pencil. Although dogs are allowed in this part of the reservation, they are not allowed across the street at Weir Farm. The best place to park is at the end of Turkey Hill Lane. Coming in from the entrance on Route 3A might substantially increase the terrain level.
