Geocache Description:

The usual type container, hidden in open, on a seldom used path along Little River. Park at pull off near bridge.

During the summer months I come fishing here and always thought that I would like to place a cache in this area. So here it is. Once I caught a 6 1/2 pound Brook Trout out of this small stream, only to drop it and run as a black bear caught sent of it and gave chase. On another occasion I hadn't actually landed any fish. They kept snapping the line, (I was only using 12 lb test). So, I was packing up my gear and getting ready to leave, when across the stream very majestic like comes this albino buck. He had at least 12 regular tines and 4 or 5 non typical ones pointing in all directions but up. He stood there looking at me for a few seconds, then realized I was a fisherman that day and not a hunter. With that knowledge, he commenced drinking from this pristine pool. I watched in awe of his beauty and grace. He must have weighed 250 or more. It is my hope that you may encounter some of nature here as well. Happy hunting. Be safe.
