Cambridge Covered Footbridge
Just off of West Main Street lies the oldest covered footbridge
in the North East. It was originally built to give the workers of
the Rice Seed Company convenient access to work. One can see the
many coats of paint on this structure and also that some use it as
a wishing well. It was constructed in 1890 by Florans Hoxie and has
a 23’ span.
I have used a new type of container at this location. Like many
containers, the elements continue to be the biggest enemy, so
please be sure to return the log back in to the baggie that is
inside the container. If you see any trash here, please be kind
enough to clean it up.

Safety First! .......Take a friend, Look out for others, take a
cell phone if possible, watch where you're stepping, NEVER UNCOVER
ANY CACHE WITH YOUR HANDS OR FEET, USE A STICK! If you feel
uncomfortable in doing a cache, for any reason, just walk
away!!!
