We found our first cache near this spot in Schramm State Park. We
decided to come "Full Circle" and hide our first cache here as
well. In keeping with that theme the original contents are items we
took from our earliest cache finds. Schramm Park's nature trails
are well maintained and well marked. The best route to the cache is
from the trailhead on the west side of the ponds. Trail #2 will
take you through the woods, across a suspension bridge, and to
within about 100 meters of the cache as it loops around the north
end of the park. Some off trail hiking will be required near the
end of your search. The hike totals about 2 miles if you go all the
way around. Deer and wild turkeys are abundant in the park and you
can get some great pictures if you have your camera ready. There
are a number of other caches in the park so come prepared for a
great caching adventure. A permit to place the cache has been
obtained and is on file with the Nebraska Game and Parks
Commission. A state park permit is required for park entry and
daily or annual passes can be purchased at the aquarium offices on
the west end of the park. As always, please CITO and help keep one
of Nebraska's state parks clean and enjoyable for all.
