This is a great community park in the midst of suburbia, with plenty of use by a variety of people. The high point in the park gives some quite good views over the inner eastern suburbs, across to the Dandenongs, and in towards the city.
The cache is a small clip-top container, located amongst the rocks lining the paths around the high point of the park. Original contents included a Smokey Bear patch, combination padlock and key clip, along with logbook and pencil, but updated over time, and with replacement in January 2017, July 2020 and October 2021. There are plenty of muggles in this area, coming from a variety of directions, so some discretion will usually be required, and it is important, as always in public areas, to replace the cache as found, with effective camouflage in place.
