There are cart paths, well marked trails and numerous unmarked trails that are within the Wolf Hill Forest Preserve. The trail leads directly to the cache so there is no need to bushwhack to find this one.
Parking is available at the Smithfield Conservation Center parking lot (PK1JQJ1). The trailhead is directly across the road (TH1JQK7) with white blazes.
