Cache is a small tablock box with a logbook, pen and some small swaps.
The cache is placed at a smashing picnic area off the Collin Road.
Great views across to Slemish and Agnews Hill.
This is a good place to stop for a snowball fight in wintertime as if it snows at all it usually snows here, lots of snow the day the cache was placed.
Also a good parking place to go for 2 of Fastfox's caches, B is for Bog and C is for Collin.
"Along the east coast of Ireland there is a cluster of names anglicised as "Collin"/"Collon", which Patrick McKay in his Dictionary of Ulster Place-Names suggests may come from an Irish element collann meaning 'a height'. See also Collin Top and Collon Hill (Co. Wicklow). This may have some connection with the element cuilleann, which T.S. Ó Máille interprets as 'steep, unbroken slope'. They may ultimately show the same root as Lat. collis, Fr. colline and Eng. hill.
Big Collin is the 897th highest summit in Ireland. Big Collin is the second most southerly summit in the Antrim Hills area."
