Geocache Description:

This traditional ammo can type of cache is located across the road from one of the new Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) tower.

These towers monitor the road conditions and some have web cam capabilities, like this one. You can check out the area before coming by Googling “ITD” and clicking on “Cameras” under the link, or try this direct link at (visit link)
The cache can almost be seen from the camera called: Deary SH-3. (It’s the camera icon west of Moscow and above Orofino on the map.)

This cache was placed in an area that is classified as rural/wilderness. So please be careful of domestic animals and wildlife in the area. It also gets all the seasons, including heavy snow at times.

There is a dirt entrance east of the cache, as well as an entrance on the side street just west of the cache. The back lot does get muddy during the rain and snow seasons.
