Geocache Description:

A magnetic key holder in a familar location to any seasoned geocacher.  A quick park & grab.  It has a log only.  Bring your own writing implement.

This cache is located at a bridge on Bogie Mill Road in Madison County.  At this point Bogie Mill Road crosses over Brown Branch.  Brown Branch joins with Silver Creek near this location.  Silver Creek empties into the Kentucky River near the western corner of Madison County.  Among the creeks that feed Silver Creek are Terrill Branch, Brushy Fork, Hays Fork, Harts Fork, Ballard Branch, Jones Branch, Elk Garden Branch, Taylor Fork, Brown Branch, Bogie Branch, Ham's Branch and Jackson Branch.  Together with many smaller unnamed rills and rivulets, these streams comprise the Silver Creek Watershed which covers much of southern Madison County.

Parking is available by pulling off the road on the east side of the bridge.  The road sees very light traffic.  As always, exercise care with children and pets.  You will be able to grab the cache without stepping onto the roadway.

Congratulations to   WH1266FD   for the FTF!
